Ikat is an elaborate dyeing process, wherein the warp and weft are tie-dyed before weaving takes place. It has its origins in Indonesia, however, is deeply embedded in the culture of Indian textiles.

Ghicha is a derivative of Tussar silk yarn. This is a pure silk, soft in its drape, natural to the touch and exquisitely woven. A type of wild silk produced primarily in the states of West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkand.
